Supervision (CAP) Services

Provisional Supervision
By one of our ethically trained supervisors
*Offers primary and secondary supervision for provisional therapists.
At DPS, we are committed to providing ethical and competent supervision tailored to your needs, as defined by the Canadian Psychological Association and CAP standards of practice. Our supervision relationships are designed to offer you a safe space to debrief, share resources, and receive clinical feedback that will guide your actions in helping clients achieve their goals.
Each session will focus on the cases or situations you present, ensuring that your unique concerns are at the forefront of our discussions. Our supervision sessions are structured and goal-oriented, designed around your specific agenda. During these meetings, your DPS supervisor will engage you by asking about your key takeaways, which can be documented in your supervision record for future reference. We encourage an open dialogue where you feel comfortable expressing uncertainty or seeking clarification by saying phrases like, "I don't know," or "Tell me more."
Prior to starting your supervision, we recommend completing Parts 1 and 2 of our ethics training to familiarize yourself with the standards and expectations related to consent and documentation practices while working with DPS staff.
