FYI -- LIMITS TO YOUR PRIVACY

While DPS takes privacy seriously, email, text, and online forms all carry some privacy risks.

At this stage, please share only limited information until we have reviewed consent, privacy, and service details together.

(A) Messages sent to DPS may be stored electronically, including through platforms such as Wix, and records may be retained for at least 11 years, or longer when legally required.

(B) Please avoid sharing highly sensitive information, such as abuse, assault, work injury, disability, or legal matters, until you have had an opportunity to learn about the privacy limits and potentially extensive record retention requirements associated with these topics, as outlined in the DPS consent form.

(C) Please note that a formal consent and service agreement has not yet been completed, so you are not yet formally considered a DPS client, consultee, or supervisee.

(D) If information shared suggests there may be a risk of harm to yourself, another person, or an animal, DPS may need to take steps to support safety, including sharing your information with relevant individuals or services.

To learn more about privacy and confidentiality, please see the information under the counselling tab

Truly, we welcome your contact - thank you for reaching out.
