POST A REVIEW?  FRIEND REQUEST?

  • No, thank you. WHY NOT? The Standards of Practice of the College of Alberta Psychologists and other codes for therapists state that it is unethical for therapists to solicit testimonials or to engage in personal social media posts.  If you choose to post on social media about your connection to DPS, we worry that you will be sharing information about yourself in a public forum that will remain 'forever' on the Internet. In addition, we are not permitted to respond to social media reviews (see below).

RESPOND TO A REVIEW?

  • No. Unlike other business owners who may respond to their social media reviews, as therapists, we are required to maintain clients' confidentiality. This means therapists are NOT PERMITTED to respond in any way that acknowledges whether someone has been in our care.
