About the event

CHARTING: Ethics part 1 event information:

Welcome! Our trainings aim to be dynamic, fast-paced, and often overdeliver. It is our goal to provide comprehensive tips, strategies, and foundational knowledge to guide what you decide to chart in your counselling session notes, and to increase the efficiency of your notetaking practice. This work is based on Dawn's soon-to-be-published ethics book, "The Big Cs in Canadian Counselling Ethics: Care, Consent, and Charting". You can take this training before or after the consent (part 2) training in our ethics series.

A. CONTEXT to the ETHICS TRAINING SERIES:

  • THIS TRAINING --> Part #1 of 3 (WRITING ETHICAL SESSION NOTES) focuses on helping front-line counselling staff write session notes that are ethical, useful, meaningful, transparent, and efficient (ideally, written in under 5 minutes). This is the event you are reading about, and you can take this training in any order you want. BTW -…
