Cancellation Policy

1.PRIVACY –OF THOSE WHO ATTEND: Although there is no guarantee of privacy and confidentiality of the attendees, given we are a gathering of like-minded professionals I am trusting we will honour each other's rights to privacy and confidentiality. For example, you are not permitted to identify to others who attended this circle. In addition, members are not permitted to copy/borrow anyone’s written work that they shared during the gathering unless they have obtained their permission to do so. Also, no recordings, either video or audio, are permitted of anything or anyone associated with this event. No screen shots are permitted. 2.PRIVACY - DO WE DISCUSS CLIENTS? Not really. This gathering is more of a chance to refine your counselling/ethical practice. If you decide to discuss a client, please protect your client's identity at all times - do not share any identifying information. It will be assumed you have permission from your client to discuss their situation. This informal gathering is NOT regarded as a contract to receive formal educational coaching. 3.PRIVACY - LIMITS DUE TO DUTY TO REPORT: If you decide to share specific details that require Dawn to act - legally (e.g., safety issues) or ethically - then she may need to share some of your information/what you shared with relevant professionals as part of the process of fulfilling this duty. 4.DAWN/DPS IS *NOT * REPRESENTING ... any regulatory body, training association, post secondary institution, or counselling organization. As a result, all attendees are expected to critically reflect upon any of Dawn's/DPS material so they can take what fits –accept, reject, or modify– according to their counselling practice and style, agency expectations and protocols, their values, and their code of ethics/standards of practice. 5.IF WE NEED TO CANCEL: DPS reserves the right to reschedule or cancel this event, at any time, due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., equipment/software failure, lack of staff availability due to car/traffic problems or illnesses). If DPS' needs to cancel the event due to insufficient registration, we will do so within six (6) days of the event being held. If we cancel the event, we will issue full refunds (or if you wish, offer you a credit to apply to another DPS training event). We have never canceled a training at the last minute and continue to keep our fingers crossed that we never have to. :) 6.ZOOM LINK: Sent at least once before the event begins.
